Nate Harwood, Founder of New Possible and British Recruitment Awards judge said: “Hiring great people is key to building a thriving organisation and we’re immensely proud to recognise the inspirational teams and individuals that are working hard to make this happen day-in, day-out. Congratulations to all the Winners and Finalists who are helping to showcase the best of British recruitment.”

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners took home two awards, including ‘Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year’ and ‘Best Early Careers Employer’. Judges praised an apprenticeship programme that challenged underrepresentation through school outreach and a focus on ‘capability and attitude’, rather than academics. Almost half of their latest apprenticeship and graduate intake were from a Black or Asian background.

Reckitt were awarded ‘Talent Acquisition Strategy of the Year’ for a "comprehensive" strategy that had a "clear impact". By shifting to a global talent acquisition model, Reckitt have simplified their recruitment process, eliminating bias, reducing cost, and building transparency. Alongside this, they’ve also launched a new EVP that focuses on empathy and inclusivity ‘by design’. Their ‘Moments that Matter’ strategy for early talent also impressed Judges, by embracing video content to deliver a personal yet scalable approach to the candidate experience.

Metro Bank walked away with ‘Best Onboarding Initiative’, after demonstrating a "data-driven" and "relentless" focus on improving engagement during their onboarding process.

SR2 Socially Responsible Recruitment took home ‘Technology Recruitment Agency of the Year’. Their passionate approach to D&I impressed judges, including the use of ‘gender decoders’ on job adverts and a ‘Women Rock’ initiative that champions inspirational stories of under-represented groups within tech. Half of SR2’s recruiters are female and over 35% of placements are female which "stands out" in a sector that is still largely male-dominated. Their ‘people over profit’ ethos was also a particular highlight.

Winners were revealed at a special celebration event in London, hosted by comedian Sally-Anne Hayward. The event also featured a panel discussion titled ‘Creating a winning employee value proposition’, moderated by Gareth Jones. Panellists included Chloe Cameron, Lee Nicholls and Liz Dowling.
